An archaeological lecturer at Morgrave University, Doctor Weaver spent his life fascinated by the dragonborn and Q'Barran culture. Recently this interest became a compulsion, as he began to hear the words 'The Circle Must Complete' in his head, and he felt drawn to Q'Barra. When the University refused him funding for his expedition, Doctor Weaver turned to Boras d'Cannith who generously offered full funding.
Doctor Weaver became paranoid during his stay in Q'Barra, writing Letter from Doctor Lucian Weaver to his sister, Lyra to his sister letting her know he was safe, but not to inform Eckbert Kanreiof his whereabouts. Doctor Weaver ended his search in Cinderwatch, a small fishing village in Q'Barra. There he found his way to a ruin hidden behind a waterfall. Within the ruins he found the voice in his head, louder than ever. There he encountered the Jade Foxes, sent by Malkovunder the guise of Eckbert Kanreito find him and return him home. Striking an agreement to continue onwards, they eventually found that the ruin lead to an eldritch machine known as a Dimensional Seal. This machine protected the Manifest Zone that linked Risia to Eberron, but was failing as the guardian - an older version of Doctor Weaver - was dying. His only hope was to call out to his younger self to replace him. Doctor Weaver agreed to stay.
