Ghost of a very sweet little kid.

Also basically a walking good luck charm.

Fortune spirit.

The lingering spirit of a very sweet young child, with little to no memory of her life when she was alive - or even any inkling off how she died for that matter.

But that doesn’t bother her. At least not much. Why focus on the past, when she can focus on the present?

Though benevolent by nature, she holds difficulty with attachments, often flitting from one home to another, or one person to another, as her interests are caught and dismissed. Sometimes she lingers for a few months at most, other times for years at a time, but ultimately never stays permanently. She seems to be seeking something, though what that may be, even she doesn't know. Perhaps those answers lay with the truths lingering in the obvious that she recuses to acknowledge, and her past that she's adamantly disinterested in exploring.

As a Zashiki-warashi type spirit, she's effectively a minor luck deity on top of literally being a dead child. She will boost the luck of the homes she inhabits, but in return that luck will decline should she ever decide to leave. Her luck manifests in the form of spectral butterflies, the color of which determines the additional saturation of fortune being added or taken to her surrounding environment.

  • Her body is slightly intangible. This is not extremely obvious, unless you study her form enough to notice that you can physically see through and spot the environment behind her.
  • Her eyes also betray her undead nature - they literally appear dead due to telltale corneal clouding, reflecting little to no light and having no visible pupil within a pink iris. This is not noticeable at first glance unless you are actively paying attention to them, similar to her intangibility.
  • She is deeply unsettled by water - while the quickest clue is her unwillingness to go out in the rain, the true nail in the coffin is her absolute refusal to go near bodies of water. It is highly likely this has something to do with her death - either directly, or indirectly.
  • Satsuki cannot remember and will not even remotely suspect it, but it's highly likely that she was an unwanted child, and that her parents were either directly or indirectly responsible for her death. At the very least, they turned a blind eye.
