The Barrier Mountains is a large mountain range separating Thorne from Theder and Pauviel. It is the largest mountain range on the continent of Tide.
There are very few safe paths through the mountains, which means that they act as a natural defence – large forces struggle to traverse unnoticed and the paths are highly defensible.
