Treents were born of Analia's blood which was spilled in a battle. The fey also sprang forth from her blood during this battle.

Saevel the Lord of the Swamp of Wayward Souls (Swamp limbo of death), was originally meant to be a god of nature and a few other domains however-- he was placed in his current domain due to some reason unknown to him.

He just assume his mother wanted to baby him and give him a safe realm to stay in... aka the swamp is something like a gilded cage or because of how young a god he is--is his backyard playground. @Romaro | Ren | Lamnia

Heart || Heek/Jade | Firecracker — 12/15/2020

Heek licks coins sometimes. Just because she has seen people biting coins before, she must do it now. It's tradition.

Elves believe that the hair must be adorned, braided or otherwise styled at all times. The tradition of why this started has been long since forgotten--but within the last 100,000 years the tradition has been as it shows pride in the self.

Among the Eladrin (Nature Elves of Ancient Decent), braided hair is a symbol of marriage.

On the Xuron continent gauged ears--is a sign of accepted guilt. Black gauges mean the bearer has  committed murder.

In races that have tusks, horns, or antlers within the continents of Xuron and Analltia, adornment of these such as gems, rings, and other such finery are signs of marriage or betrothal.

In the region of Kaldrhiem it is said that Bjorn and the other gods will test followers--primarily of the feme variety Valkrye the guards of the Kaldrhiem's divine. Others say that valiant shieldmaidens are plucked from the grips of death to become a Valkrye.

@everyone Aire stole his golden feathers while Filnar was gifted his silver ones.

Ojen || Jabari — 12/15/2020

Jabari just sleeps on the floor instead of the bed and he doesnt really sit on any furniture he will either stand or just sit on the floor.

Nejosha, Genna, Alexi, & Erster — 12/15/2020

Genna has repaid Josha a total of 63 times for the debt over the two years they've worked together, and she keeps track, but still doesnt consider it enough.

Storyweaver — 12/15/2020

Zil however considers her to have repaid the debt 100 times for even the smallest shit. 😅

Nejosha, Genna, Alexi, & Erster — 12/15/2020

She also has a diary that she records debts and her daily activities, along with her shanty songs writings

Its very organized

Storyweaver — 12/15/2020

Ozmon secretly actually understands Josha way more than he'll ever admit. So does Inzia.

Nejosha, Genna, Alexi, & Erster — 12/15/2020

Before his shift, Josha actually respected the parties combat skill and was jealous on how capable everyone was. Its why he trained so much on his own.

Also interesting

Alexi does not do drugs involving shrooms, he never sold any in his buissness either.

Oh and all the safehouses and target acquisition was done by Alexis right hand man, Karvan the fox man

Nejosha, Genna, Alexi, & Erster — 12/18/2020

Genna whenever roaming town helps people along the way

Tiefling Cuisine is spicy, they actually often have a spicy rating. There is a specialized pepper that is a mix of Dragons Breath Pepper, Great Fire Pepper, and Hellweep pepper. There are off branches of a different "kind" of spicy for those who have differing resistances that include necrotic, cold, and poison so on and so forth. But the most well known are the hear based cuisines.

Halflings are known for having the strongest nonmagical coffee. There are 3 families that controll massive farms... somewhere. No outsiders have ever seen these farms.

When they were sent away Gnoll, Tabaxi, and Coyotefolk were scattered as the gods magic was cut off mid-cast. Foxfolk were left behind. Cut off from their gods some turned to the demons for aid when other gods would not heed their calls for aid.

Gnolls most notebly turned to a demon known as the Starving Shadow. This demon is always starving and delights in anguish and misery.

Coyote folk were so scattered, they started to die out. Its estimated only 10 remain in the world at large.

Fox folk wholly believed for a long time that Aire killed their gods when their world came crashing down.

Tabaxi culture is the closest to what Ancient Weamidians were like. They somehow managed to keep ahold of their earring tradition. 1 earring is coming of age. 2 is surviving the night alone in the wilderness, 3 is first battle survived.  4 was to symbolize marriage and couples would have matching  piercings.

Dangling charms/beads told minor and major events and stories that affected a person changing their life in some profound way. White meant a death, dark green/blue meant birth, red meant battle/blood spilled.

Connected Chains from one piercing to another were meant to represent connected events (usually 2 &3).

Many also wore metal bands on their tails for meanings lost to time. Speculation among tribes is that they told a story being ornately carved/embossed. Or were defensive.

(Ryder, Des, Az if you have an idea for eyebrow piercings and nose piercings meanings hit me up ;) )

Fox folk returned to ancient ancestoral dens when the rest of Weamidians vanished. Unable to keep the once great cities alive.

Dwarves are a matriarchal society. With an Elected queen every 200 years.

Kaldrhiem Dwarves and Halflings struggle and argue as life on the tundra can be hard and resources are scarce. Humans of the tundra have become mediators trying to keep all 3 factions alive.

3 goblin tribes fell prey thousands of years ago to demon corruption. They are the reason many goblins have a bad rep. However, with Zill as a guiding force many have seen goblins in a new light. His following steadily grows.

@Azaria | Pike | Ryder

Let me know what you think of the headcanons I added :)

Azaria | Pike | Ryder — 12/30/2020

I'm digging it all so far o: also Azaria has three or four ear piercings e,d

UwU Tabaxis have a lot of symbolism like the orc or goliath tribes and their tattoos. Things tell a story. Though now I'm tempted to deck Azaria out it whites for all the death.

Storyweaver — 12/30/2020

Idk that she'd know that growing up with dwarves.

We should come up with a Dwarven system. 🤔 🤔 🤔

Azaria | Pike | Ryder — 12/30/2020

Right I figure she doesn't know but she had the earring from her parents aside from that it was more just for fancy. And she couldn't grow a beard like the dwarves so no gold cuffs really fit her. But her ears were plenty fluffy. I'd assume dwarves wear chains or bracelets.

And I know that you mentioned scaring possibly for couples? After the scratching incident.

Storyweaver — 12/30/2020

Yeah, scarring gotta add that to the list. Its probably a tribe specific thing--that happened in Oskia/Brava where Veni is from.

Azaria | Pike | Ryder — 12/30/2020

Oho

Storyweaver — 12/30/2020

Parents probably did mark the cubs with earrings as a you survived being born! Type thing, along with figuring out which rugrat was which until the similar looking ones were old enough to be more easily differentiated beyond just scent differences. Lol

Azaria | Pike | Ryder — 12/30/2020

A unique piercing of individuality.  So perhaps the stone used was something special to the parents.

Storyweaver — 12/30/2020

I like it.

Gnomes:

Orderly city planning as far as shape and how much space is allotted per plot of land and its shape. However... thats as far as it went... the buildings... are wild. You can see the Gnomish wild unpredictable nature there.

Their motto: Up, not out; unless you're combining family/business lots. This means Gnomish Architecture is one hell of a wild ride. The only reason their ceilings are 8ft tall in newer buildings--is vertical storage. However many older buildings reach a max of 5ft for cielings.

Gnomes are known the world round for being inventors. Need something invented? Find a Gnomish Tinkerer.

Storyweaver — 01/27/2021

The Skyrup--are a famous family with many a store across the Analltia continent. Nelisora is seen as a bit of the black sheep--because she married a Baroness (Mirrindris), and doesn't really do as much pet selling as they believe she should.

They have what approximates to ~4-5 lots of land within each Major Gnome City/Town.

Nelisora took on the Tinkerton name to distance herself from her Gnomish Family line.

Nejosha, Genna, Alexi, & Erster — 01/27/2021

Interesting

Storyweaver — 01/27/2021

Indeed, they are well known for their Breeding of Mounts, Pets, and other things--just like Nelisora (she keeps it up a lot of the time for fun not for business).

And their stock is seen as some of the best in the world.

Nelisora is known for breeding such as well but--she is more of a tinkerer and with a mage wife who is a Baroness in her own right, things have gotten publicly tense at times.

Skyrups mostly have their lots next to each other--preferring to settle and make family out of those around them via smart marriages. This--will all make more sense once y'all get to the gnome lands and see what things are like there.

Weamidians referred to Eladrin and Fae as their "furless" cousins.

Sometimes they even would call them, "Walking Trees/Plants/Flowers and Living Magic"

Likewise in the same fashion Eladrin considered, Weamidians to be their fierce and adventurous cousins. Often calling Weamidians, "Forces of Nature given claws and fangs"

Genna gets blackout drunk whenever she feels super guilty, and then while blackout drunk is the most emotional mess ever

she has gotten this drunk a total of 5 times over the 2 year course after she met Josha, 3 of these times were for her mom

Nejosha, Genna, Alexi, & Erster — 03/01/2021

Yelena's, Alexi's wife, nickname is "Oasis" because Alexi feels rexled and refreshed looking into her eyes.

Nejosha, Genna, Alexi, & Erster — 09/20/2021

Romaro | Ren | Lamnia — 10/03/2021

Roma doesn't like animals because he was chased by a lot of them as a small child in his little town. He especially hates small white dogs cause his neighbor had one that was mean as shit.

Hes big enough now that they can't bother him but the general distaste had remained
