The Flaming Cult was a cult that was active 30 years ago in the cities of Newport and Feniton, in the Three Rivers Federation. They were disbanded after their organisation was defeated by heroes.
Origin
The Flaming Cult is a cult of Cultists and Necromancers. They are the reincarnation of a previous Cult named “Zorgath Devotion”, a cult that was disbanded 30 years ago after it tried to revive their god “Zorgath”.
Presence
The cult’s members try and stay out of direct trouble, and don’t have the means to bribe officials. They usually use intimidation on“normal folk” to get them to do the dirty job.
Goal
The current members still wish to revive Zorgath in the shape of an Ancient Red Dragon, but they need the sacrifice of 10’000 souls to do so. They want to put one of their members as the new mayor of the city, and plan to trick 10’000 inhabitants in participating in the sacrifice.
To do so, they steal magical items in the city which could be used against them, and which they in turn use to get stronger.
Leader
The leader of the Flaming Cult was Grogoth, a Human Necromancer. His brother Fin Hemband, whose actual name is Agalai, is pretty weak but charismatic.
