Midmar is the capital and biggest city of the Kingdom of Dulken, located in the Lower Euthis province by the Euthis river on the south-east of the continent of Thaelia

The city retains little of its original dwarven structure or architecture, and now serves as home to the Dulken monarchy. Contrary to many towns and cities after the Thaelian Conquest, Midmar kept its original dwarven name which roughly translated to "sea house".

Economy

The city serves as the main trading hub for produces of the kingdom. It also specialises in importing exotic goods from foreign lands to the continent. Ideally located close to mountains, the city produces lots of stone work that it exchanges for food.

History

The city of Midmar was founded as a Horhirlunian port city in the 4th or 3rd century before the conquest of Thaelia. The dwarven kingdom of Horhirlun built fortifications and a castle in the city, but most of it was destroyed during the wars of the Conquest of Thaelia. The city lost most of its prominence after the wars. Most of the original castle has been destroyed and rebuilt over time. T

The city has been the capital of various Kingdoms under control of men. When the Kingdom of Dulken and the Kingdom of Dovaria merged in 1015 AC, Midmar was kept as the capital of the new Kingdom.
