House Pryde is a Great House of Thaelia, ruling over the Kingdom of Thasslia from their seat in Goldengate Castle, Craic. It took over control of the Kingdom of Thasslia in 923 AC during the War of the Cousins.
The family founded the town of Whitescar and has ruled it since. During the War of the Cousins, it sided with House MacPhaiden and took power over the kingdom.
