The Second War for Herun was took place in 1024 AC, when the Kingdom of Thasslia attacked the kingdom of Othiria.
Buildup and claim
Both countries were once part of a single entity called the Kingdom of Herun, but have been split countries since 881 AC. Both kingdoms have laid claims over the kingdom over time, but war never broke out, with tensions usually resolving themselves diplomatically through political marriages. However, in 1023 AC, the then king of Thasslia, Callum Pryde, used his claim to the throne of Herun, and seeing the kingdom of Othiria in turmoil following their ongoing war with Arden, attacked.

- Bathair MacPhaiden, king of Othiria (scholars disagree if Bathair is a casualty, as it was later discovered that he was dead and replaced by a Doppleganger)

Following the death of the kings of both kingdoms, a white peace was signed between the new representatives of both kingdoms.
