After freeing a few Goblins from Bhurol prison with a bunch of Strangers, the Goblins saw Hetz being taken back into prison, while they were looking for their gear.
The Goblins then went back to free him, as a return favor. The group snuck around town, managing to get to the shipyard and stealing a Rowboat. when they were far enough, the Goblins went back to their cave, and Hetz continued with his Rowboat towards Meadheavan, when he got to the river near the town, the currents were too strong, and he had to abandon the Rowboat in order to survive.
He managed to get to town safely, with almost nothing on him.
