Gelder is a diverse land that are strong, wise, and sometimes barbaric. They have had their share of wars and battles against the likes of those from the Ügral Wastes. They have had to fend off the wyrd sorcery from the mad wizards and witches from Brune. Still, the inhabitants of Gelder thrive. In the south they are a kingdom at constant war, protecting the land they are bound too. At the western port towns they trade their precious cargo to the nations of Alfalas, Mol Tarum, Kel, and Og. A thriving nation that ever wars makes for a hearty people and a hearty people they are.  

Gelder and Og both seem to be on the cutting edge of all things technological. Creating clockwork contraptions, steam automatons, and advanced devices that are akin to magic in many respects. It seems to be the only way the two lands have survived against the pirates of Torhg and the evils from Ügral and Brune.
