In the south eastern most part of Vetica lies Brune. A desolate wasteland that is home to a few ports. Brune's history is a violent one that involves many years of warring and destruction. It was the main battleground in the War of Lost Mothers. It is an unclaimed land with no king, no rulers, and no councils. A land of lawlessness and wild magic.
The landscape is scarred with arcane treachery and the madness of many a rogue magic user. Those that wander into this land often see it's landscape as similar to the shadowfell except for brown tones rather than grey. The few beasts that use to roam the land have become twisted and deformed due to the arcane sickness that has fallen on the land and all that once lived here.
