Celestials

The Ancient Ones created the Joutun, primordials, and celestials. After a long civil war between light and darkness, the celestials continued fighting, The ones siding with the light created the high planes and became known as angels. The ones siding with the darkness created the low planes and became known as Devils. The ones the grew tired of it all and chose no side remained Valkyrie. Eventually the ones on extreme sides were twisted and morphed by the light and the dark, becoming beings of pure light or twisted hopeless demons of pure darkness.
