Known around town as the conspiracy theorist who lives on the easten side of town, Lawrence was born and raised in Skohegan. His father died when he was 13, and he was sent to live with his mother in New York. He returned to Skohegan after retiring from his job with the Long Island Railroad. He still owns his family home, but chooses to live in an RV in the woods. The townspeople largely feel sorry for him and let him be.
