The world of Fanensunn is fraught with mystery; No one can truly map it out, as it seems the geography is constantly changing, shifting like the tides. There is some sort of foggy barrier at the borders of every region that prevents travel outside of it, even magical. Some believe a great catastrophe occurred long ago which disrupted the connection between long-forgotten planes of existence, combining them into the everchanging Fanensunn that it is today, or sometimes people say that the gods created it this way after a war between the various races of the world in order to make sure some cultures would never truly encounter the others. Other, more dickheaded folks know that the DM just wanted a way to cheat his random bullshit into one continuity so that people can hop off his dick about plotholes. The world may never know.
