The Third Battle of Sacred Pool

The Imperial army storms Sacred Pool in an ultimately failed attempt to destroy the city and conquer the UPP. The fighting begins while the Queen Mother Isobel Quinnlee and the prepubescent King Virion II are in audience with Gor-il-soq. Lady Isobel flies into a rage as the shouting and fighting frightens Virion. Convinced the Trolls knew they were coming and saw an opportunity to finally conquer Tír without even having to invade, she sends a messenger pigeon back to Caislean, declaring war on the Troll Empire and kicking off the Imperial Wars. She also formally allies the Kingdom of Tir with the UPP.
