The Scion with this Boon may tie her target’s emotions and mental wellbeing to the phases of the waxing and waning moon, causing them to ride a slow emotional rollercoaster over the course of the month.
By spending the Legend cost and overcoming her target’s resistance roll, the Scion inflicts a mental disease (subject to Storytellerapproval) on her victim and ties it to the moon’s phases; as the moon waxes, the targets affected slowly succumbs to madness, finally reaching a fever pitch at the full moon, when he or she becomes fully insane and is helpless to behave or think normally. Conversely, as the moon wanes, the target becomes less and less likely to express his or her brain fever, until, at the new moon, he or she is perfectly sane again. The cycle continues for a number of months equal to the Scion’s threshold successes, after which point it ceases to plague the hapless target
