Alterra is a cold, mountainous Kingdom, situated on the northernmost shores of Eos. It is home to the half-giants and Goliaths of Urrah, the fine craftsmen of Orlaine, and the uninhabitable frozen reaches of The Antlers.
The Antlers are said to be so cold at their tips that men would freeze to death instantly without a constant source of fire to keep warm. No one has ever made it back from their farthest points.
The capitol city of Cauldron sits atop a massive caldera in the midst of the Dragonspine Mountains, and is home to the ruler of Alterra, the Gray King.
