The calling of Myrkul is selective in Faerûn, we do not have the desperation of other faiths to prove our power. Our power is final and absolute. When encountering one another in our work refer to one another as "Death" or, for senior members, "Most Holy Death".
Priests of Myrkul wear black, hooded robes, tied around the waist with a single white sash. While we always wear skull-shaped half-masks in public, show your face and walk barefoot when within our temples. Any exposed skin should be concealed with ash. When venturing out in the Realms, visit the armory and wear our fine blackened armor underneath your hooded cloak.
We do not fear the dead and our walk alongside death brings resistance to diseases, thus it is common to accept payment for disposal of plague victims and to deal with lycanthropes.
