Nulli secundus.

- Crivelli family motto, translates to 'Second to none'.

The House of Crivelli is a Valorian noble family and political dynasty that first began to gather prominence under Francardo di Crivelli during the days of the Valorian Republic.

History

The Crivelli's have produced three Hierophants of the Church of the Heavenly Family: Angelo, Felix, and Salvatus. They can also count a queen of Orlean, and numerous members of the Emperor's Council among their ancestry. In XXX the family acquired the hereditary title Duke of Temris. The duchy of Temris has had varying degrees of economic growth since the Crivelli's obtained the title but over the past few hundred years has burgeoned into a financial juggernaut.

The Crivelli's wealth and influence were initially derived through their financial success in the cattle market. This success facilitated the Crivelli's rise to political power in Temris. Like other families in the Valorian aristocracy, the Crivelli's dominated their city's government and were able to eventually bring it entirely under their control.

The Crivelli family backed Caburus' attempt to become the first emperor of Valoria, and the family was very nearly eradicated during the civil war following Caburus' death. Through skill political dealings and a great deal of coin, the Crivelli family managed to escape mostly intact and began to quietly consolidate their power and influence.

Business Interests

The Crivelli family stills maintains a strong presence in the cattle industry, but has over the past centuries diversified their portfolio to include:

Ancestral Home

The Crivelli family live in Goldenhall, an opulent mansion (palace is a better term) located in Temris. Goldenhall is famous for the extravagant parties held there and the extensive collection of artifacts that the Crivelli's have collected throughout the years.
