Orrian is a priestess of Hailah currently living in Rivain. She has planted an ahírilorn, "tree of the lady" in a small stand of trees not far from Rivain.
Surrounding the ahírilorn is a ring of simple gardens a bubbling spring. A small wattle and daub dwelling with a thatch roof blends into the surrounding countryside.
- Orrian has one younger sibling, Faen.
- Parents died when she was young, was adopted.
- Lived a comfortable childhood.
- Adopted parents lived in a mansion.
- Others saw her as being different or strange, and so had no close friends.
- After encountering a true servant of the gods, she was so inspired that she immediately entered the service of Hailah.
- Hailah gave her an unmistakable sign, and she dropped everything to serve her.
- Had a supernatural experience: she escaped certain death and believes it was the intervention of Hailah that saved her.
- War ravaged her home community, reducing everything to rubble and ruin. In the aftermath, she helped rebuild and then moved on.
- She has a metal urn on her mantlepiece. She does not speak of it, and will initially refuse to answer any questions about it.
