Captain Krasl - imperial officer. Former head of security for a murdered magistrate. Nearly caught Jia, but she managed to persuade him that she wasn't involved (she had only a side role). Partner on the job detonated a fireball in the barracks and Jia managed to slip away. His failure to protect the magistrate has left him fairly driven to find those involved.
His failure has put a black mark on his record, but he is motivated to clear his reputation. He sought out and was granted a transfer to Imperial Intelligence, where has been competent, albeit not incredibly inspiring.
