The nation of the Jorou-Gumo has only recently begun to make contact with the East. They have made it known that they wish to be an ally of the Imperial Troll Empire along the same lines as the Yeti Republic.
General Description
Kumonosu exists on a clump of rocky islands on the north-east of the Western Isles archipelago. These islands are mountainous, filled with beautiful valleys lined with cherry trees, steep cliffs and gorgeous vistas and lowlands. Kumonosu is known to those who visit it to be an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cities of the nation such as Takaikabe are built using the landscape to assist their construction.
Government
The Shogunate is an absolute monarchy, and their incumbent Shogun is Ichibangase Haruto VIII. They tend towards neutrality and try to avoid violence whenever possible. The Shogun will have a government of ministers who function similarly to the Imperial Troll Empire Government.
Honorifics
The Kumonosi Royal Family has a very specific set of honorific suffixes used, and not using these is considered to be extremely insulting. The Shogun is referred to as -Ō (if male) or -Jōuo (if female). Their queen or royal consort is referred to as -Ōhi (for the queen of a male Shogun) or -Jinkun (for the male consort of a female Shogun who is not Shogun themselves). Princes are referred to a -Ōuji, and a princess as -Ōjou. A less used honorific is -Koutaigo, which is specifically used for the mother of the royal consort, in the same way that Queen Mother is in common.
For those not willing to refer to a royal by name, they should use the suffix followed by -sama.
