Expedition 19A - Boots's Introduction

"By my beard, we shall crusade until the mountains go flat!" Boots yelled, slamming the table of Redwood tavern. By now he was so worked up that the spat food and ale with every word he muttered, making his ginger beard a mess to behold.

Without missing a beat, Boots went on, chewing and grunting, "We shall return your hat! I know how much you hate your bald skull despite it's perfect features! It's like an egg shaped mirror-"

His last provocation was cut short with a sharp inhale. Boots grabbed his throat, his eyes welled, and cheeks turned red. "Oh, you gluttonous bastard, I have just the right medicine for you!" Hats grinned as he slammed the ginger dwarf with all his might.

"Cousin, I'm once again indebted to you! You are truly the mightiest of your brothers! Innkeeper, bring more ale, I need to soften this gravel of yours!"

"Now, cousin, pray tell, why do you want to go to some ruin that has nothing to do with your magnificent hat, so unjustly stolen from you?"
