The bulk of the continent of Alyndrica lies just below the equator in the southern hemisphere of the world of Alfaysia. It is bordered on the south by the Tempestas Sea and to the extreme south the Glacial Sea. To the west lies the Great Rim Ocean, to the north is the Tropic Ocean, and on the mainly unexplored eastern coast of Alyndrica is the Amber Ocean.
The most numerous of Alyndrica's inhabitants are humans, of many varied cultures and ethnicity. The major kingdoms and empires are run and populated by humans. Other major natives are the Alfar (elves) and the gnomes. Several minor, yet common species also exist, the Rakasta (cat people), the Lacerta (lizardfolk), and the Kenku and Tengu. Dwarves and the humans called the Korsic Barbarians claim to have immigrated from another realm/world.
