Alara of the Myriad

This human girl was raised among the islands, but the last couple years have been plagued with disaster. The Wayward Crew found her and a friend, Echo, as the only survivors after a dragon turtle seemingly destroyed their ship.
Later the crew aided her again when the house she was in collapsed into the Middling of The Drift which was full of monsters, accidentally killing the elderly halfling who was aiding her with her nightmares.
Then again, when Arn'aia Manor shifted into the Thui'gàil (Shadowfell), her nightmares spawning monsters even beyond those that came naturally from this realm.
Eventually it was learned she was hagborn and coming into her powers. The transformation was delayed though by a magical amulet blessed by three faiths. Wee Jas, the Raven Queen, and Selune. The magic amulet suppressed her hagborn powers and further change. Her companion, Echo, was also enchanted to help calm her and absorb the nightmares should they erupt after the medallion is somehow taken off.
A member of The Order of the Observant Eye was able to help her use her gifts to dismantle a cursed weird magic item created by Pestra Marrowspit and it would be learned that hagborn children at this stage in development can see through hag illusions and manipulate the auras and magic of weird magic items. They can even track magic from one of these items back to the source making them a danger to hags. Normally this dangerous stage is short-lived, but Alara's is extended due to the amulet. The only trouble is that to access it she needs to remove the amulet which once again progresses the metamorphosis.
Knowing now what she is, and what she is to become she wants to do as much as good as she can.
