The Land:

The land around Edfield is lush farmland and forestry with a high canopy. This provides a verdant landscape for the people of Edfield to sustain themselves.

The City:

The town of Edfield is a rather small one, having only existed for a couple of generations now but has achieved self-sustainability rather quickly.

The People:

The people of Edfield are a mostly human and elf population with a smattering of a few more races in there. They live rather happily, helping each other sustain the village in an attempt to grow their small town into something big.

The people of Edfield also live at odds with the local Aarakocra population, having basically invaded their land to start their village. The settlers of Edfield took their part of the island forcefully away from the Aarakocra who still live on the island and neighboring islands.

The Government:

The mayor of Edfield is a human man by the name of Edward Shikardi III. He is the third in line as the successive leader of this village. His grandfather settled here and died in the battles against the Arrakocra, his father took over and recently died leaving Edward to lead his people to prosperity while under threat of extermination.

Criminals:

Edfield doesn’t experience much crime except for the fact that it has become a popular smuggling spot recently, using the perceived innocence of a small town as cover to bring illicit goods to the larger cities in exchange for money to fuel the import of goods for Edfield.

Trade:

The town of Edfield is pretty heavily reliant on the system of trade they have built with the rest of the nearby islands, as in recent years their efforts towards sustainability have been repeatedly foiled by the Aarakocra population.

Districts:

The town does not really have districts but does keep most of its business in the town square where the mayor’s building also is.
