Cyproris is a military republic that has not reached the size of the nations currently residing in Estir. Even though it isn't large, it is a thriving republic governed by strict order and honor. All citizens are required to serve time in civil service unless they have been given an exception by the military council of Cyproris.

This city-state is governed by a military council consisting of five people, two human women Rapoteh Colim and Juhlolil Shona. Two human men, Zekham Zehro and Nhedim Dhuhal. The fifth seat belongs to a female dwarf by the name of Rynlynn. The people in this province lead prosperous and humble lives, their culture is known for creating incredible tacticians who often freelance themselves to other nations, and even spread out to other continents.

Cyproris

The Land:

Cyproris sits in an area of lush plains where one river splits into four that all lead into the Panemorfi Sea. It lies directly on the Aniki River, this river splits further west into the Imoto River. Further south lies the continuation of the Mitera River, and to the north is the Itoko River. Far to the east, the Pateras River and the Mitera River meet, but the Mitera River is what keeps its name throughout and into the Panemorfi Sea.

The City:

The city itself belongs to no kingdom and is a sort of large city-state that keeps ownership over the land around it. It is home to an expanse of verdant and fertile land that houses the farm of many families. This is what fuels the basic economy for Cyproris, their other wealth of income is the freelancers who sell themselves and their units to other countries and send a chunk of their income back to the city to keep their families, and the rest of the citizens, alive. In recent years, their business model has seen their city become a wealth of rapid growth.

However, they are not too keen to outsiders taking up shop in their city so the growth has served only to instill the existing families with power. Every now and then, through an application process, new families are allowed into the city to make sure an incest problem doesn’t break out, other than that, the city prides itself on nationalism and honor.

The People:

The people of Cyproris are a deeply prideful people who value military prowess and discipline. They started out as a farming settlement fighting for their lives amongst war torn lands and ferocious beasts. Through this trial of fire, a prosperous community with an instilled value of militaristic themes began to flourish. The population of this land consist of a mix of

The citizens are prideful to the extent of some xenophobia, they allow outsiders into their city to visit and play tourist. But unless you’re talking to a shop or tavern owner, you will probably be met with concise if not downright rude conversation as citizens tend to avoid any interaction with outsiders. Every now and then, the city takes a vote on allowing families to enter the city. Their qualifications are publicized and the city takes a vote on whether or not to allow these families into their city.

Due to the incredibly competent military that lies within Cyproris’ borders, and the fact that every citizen has served in service to the city-state at one point, the citizens do not fear incursions. Even farmers beyond the city walls know how to protect themselves intelligently from the beasts that roam the lands. Very little brings fear to a citizen of Cyproris.

The Government:

This city-state is governed by a military council consisting of five people, two human women Rapoteh Colim and Juhlolil Shona. Two human men, Zekham Zehro and Nhedim Dhuhal. The fifth seat belongs to a female Dwarf by the name of Rynlynn. They serve as commanders of the citizens and of the armies, the humans represent the large human population of the land and Rynlynn serves as a representation of the growing dwarven population amongst Cyproris

Criminals:

Cyproris, by design, does not have your normal version of crime. Common criminals are quickly jailed or exiled, and their family is brandished with a sting of dishonor on their record. Every now and then, a visitor will step out of line and commit a crime, these visitors are jailed until someone claims them as their own. Whether that be a family or a nation. If they aren’t claimed, they are either sent out of their borders, to be killed on sight if they are seen again, or, if the crime is bad enough, they are simply executed in private on Cyproris soil.  The crime that does exist in Cyproris is systematic corruption instilled by the presence of the Void Community. They pose threats to the character of the higher up families in the city and extort them for money, if these arrangements were to be exposed in their entirety, the province would be thrown into disarray.

Trade:

While the trade of Cyproris isn’t known to be lavish delights or intricate craftsmanship, they export a wealth of farming goods such as food and building materials. They also export soldiers, elite warriors who sell their abilities to the highest bidder. If it is a possible mission, and the pay is good, a Cyproris unit will surely take up the job and complete it with ease. Some nations even employ primarily Cyproris soldiers for their personal guard.
