One of the earliest cannonized Saints in Ambehgris culture, Christina of Malflour, or the Lepper Saint, was an early immigrant to Ambehgris in 347 AN. Many of the details of her life have been lost to folklore but popular beliefs claim she contracted a deforming desease that caused her to progressively lose extremeties and suffer questionable skin conditions and growths. She allegedly suffered through her malady with great poise and dignity, never succumbing to dispair. Most stories and paintings of her life contain versions of the saying "with each little bit of her that fell off, she came closer to divinity".

In more recent times, she has become a Patron Saint of Sporesmettague where families of patients often make donations at a small shrine to Saint Christina in the Temple of Olladra. She is often depicted as a heavily veiled woman removing a gilded mask which she wore in life to sheild her scarred face from others. The Festival of the Vapours is celebrated each Aryth 17th with sombre processions behind incencse bearers which fumigate the city with exotic scents.
