The Asanbosam, Gerhard Pendergrast and the Blue Pillar.

In the morning, Chioma returned to the group.
They had spent the night scouting at a radius of 20 miles around their current camping spot.

They revealed that they found two more dragon pillars. One to directly South, and one to the South East.

At the site of the pillar to the south, it seemed a battle had recently taken place. Chioma said they saw bodies of both cultists, and other humanoids that seemed "like the group" indicating mostly humans and other civilized ancestries.
The site to the South East seemed covered with deep forests, and they didn't see much.

Chioma excused themselves to continue their quest of finding the rare herbs to save the apprentice's life.

After breaking their fast, and doing their daily preparations, the group decided to travel South, as it was intriguing to find out what other group may be in conflict with the Cinderclaw Cult. This could lead to Possible Allies.

Bjørn, pointed out that this was the direction in which he saw the Sloth-like creature the night before. And when the party reached the area, the creature was indeed still in the tree.
The creature, an Asanbosam, attacked the group, and managed to get it's jaws on Bjørn and managed to drain some of his blood.
It tried to flee up a tree, but Bjørn, consumed by Rage, climbed after it and managed to knock it to the ground where everyone else finished it off.

The Ranger was not doing well, as he had lost quite a bit of blood. An attempted blood transfusion was done, but didn't seem to go quite right.

The group set up a small tent for Bjørn to regain his strength for a bit.

During this time, Krystoff checked up on him and the following conversation took place

--------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------

After Bjørn regained some of his strength, the group agreed to keep travelling South, so as not to miss out on meeting those who had fought the Cultists.
Alosrin insisted on caution, and the group agreed.

As the group continued cautiously travelling South, they reached an opening, with the remains of a battlefield. Many cultists lay dead, as well as the petrified remains of Human explorers.
In the middle of the clearing, there was a blonde mustached man in green leather clothing, with a rope around a toppled Dragon Pillar, and making an attempt to drag it away with him on a sled.

When the party made themselves known, the man introduced himself as Gerhard Pendergrast. He greeted the party cheerfully and introduced himself as a scholar, explorer and archeologist.  and excited about finding a Jungle Relic. He offered each of the party members 10 Gold Pieces to help him carry the tower to his ship. He explains that his group took care of the local "Savages".
The group refused, explaining to Gerhard that the Pilar was a dangerous magical artifact that needs to be destroyed.
The Explorer dismissed us as superstitious fools. Krystoff cast a Word of Truth spells to try and convince him of the seriousness, but even once Gerhard believed that this was a dangerous magical artifact, this just made him more excited about the possible fame he could attain.
Alosrin also tried to convince him and failed, to which Bjørn, loosing his patience stated "Leave the statue if you wish to leave with your life".

A battle started, and Gerhard shot at the entire group with his Blunderbuss firearm, causing massive damage, especially to Andromeda
Even with his tripping whip, the party managed to overwhelm him, and he started running away, cursing us for ruining his plans.
Krystoff, considering the battle concluded, rushed to Andromeda to heal her wounds. Unbeknownst to him, Bjørn had taken chase of Gerhard, and both Alosrin and Betty followed as well.

Gerhard had a chance to reload his gun, and do more damage to his three pursuers. Krystoff managed to catch up to try and convince his allies to stand down and allow this dumb man go. Gerhard left, cursing our savagery, and sarcastically promising we'd never see him again.

Bjørn destroyed the rest of the Pilar with his hammer, and Alosrin inspected the statues of the Explorers, accidentally breaking the arm off one while trying to find out how to help them.

With two Dragon Pillars down, the group started travelling East, to where Chioma had mentioned another Pilar lay.

As it got dark, Alosrin cast Cozy cabin for the group to rest.
However, before they could retire, Andy saw a strange creature attached to a tree. She identified it as an Ooze, and for safety, the group took it out from afar. Finding some useful items in its remains.
