Hailing from lands unknown, Ashtai found refuge within the Emris Adventuring Guild after the heavy influx of foreigners due to the introduction of airship technology to the Sarranid Sultanate. Finding himself within the School of The Owl due to his uncanny connection the ethereal plane, Ashtai had keen spiritual senses which alluded others around him. Often described as spacey or otherworldly by his adventuring peers, there seemed to be much history behind the otherwise young appearance of the humanoid Kalashtar.
