  1. Races
Humanoid
A court of celestials gathered around with the intention of creating a perfect mortal being. They gave the creature large eyes, with which to see the evils of the world and correct them, pointed elf-like ears with which to hear the sins of the world and make them right, and a mouth large enough to speak the truth to the world and bring peace everywhere they went. The creature was a perfect and beautiful being of pure good. Soon, a demonic god of chaos and spite caught wind of its creation.

As the first goblins spawned into the world, the god cursed them. The eyes that were so large and full of innocence became dark black, only colored by the glittering shine of gold coins; The ears became twisted and cracked, useful much more for eavesdropping and stealth than confessions of sins; The mouth that was designed to hold the truth of the universe rotted, teeth falling out and tongue turning black, only able to spout curses and consume food. The new creature existed as a testament to the hubris and failure of the celestials that created them, and the court of celestials attempted to stomp them out. Plagues, disasters and tragedies were created to destroy the cursed species, but despite this, they survived, and the torturous treatment only proved to make the species harder to kill. The creatures reproduced faster than any similar species, and spread like rabbits across the world. Millenia later, and we have today what we would call the Goblin.

A goblin is tricky, hardy, and willing to do most anything to survive till the next day. Goblins are conniving and greedy, willing to band together to pillage and steal. Curiously, Goblins can be found ANYWHERE in the universe. From the deepest pits of the hells to the highest circles of heaven, Goblins survive and thrive.

In combat, a Goblin finds its stride weaving in and out of a direct fight, circling its target and making precise and deadly strikes, only to quickly vanish and hide soon after.

Out of combat, a Goblin is much like a human, although smaller and almost certainly dirtier. Goblins fill many roles in society, and survive just as well in a bustling city as a dark cavern.
