Drakes are draconic, magical creatures that aredistantly related to wyverns. They are smaller and not as powerful as dragons, being on average non sentient and therefore easier to train. They are commonly used as mounts buy particuallr commanding invividuals, magister and other highly skilled artisans.
They can often be found in the employ of dragons as guards, or given to the dragons' humanoid servants.
