Named after the leader, the Family prides itself on being able to get in anywhere. If this is used to smuggle any thing or person to any place on the continent, or to get into a King’s private quarters to steal their crown jewels or to assassinate them, it makes little difference to Tanor’Thal. No questions will be asked - it all comes down to how much you are willing to pay. 


The Family is also infamous for their return policy when it comes to assassination contracts - if the contract wasn’t a trap and it failed, they will pay back the client the whole down payment. 


Tanor’Thal leads the direction of the Family, but a lot of the day to day administration is handled by her lieutenants, a set of triplets - a true rarity amongst the Drow (you can often hear them complain about all the weird wizards that have tried to kidnap or buy them for use as reagents). They seem loyal, but no one knows if some or all of them aren’t looking for a promotion... 


They control the underground, the sewers and catacombs of Shadowport.
