Pogrom of the Underhome

Disaster, Battle
372 3A

A Ballad titled with the same name as the 3rd Age fall of the Underholm, writtain by Erik the Redmayne, 4th age

"Lord Moradin, where be your boon,
There be no light beneath the moon!
Dark Days upon us have descended
Your strong stone gates, once well defended
By Dra'khams dwarves who now have gone
To the bright lands so far beyond
The borders of the eastern lands
No more to walk upon the sands
Of this world of darkness falling
Hear thier voices mournful calling
The majestic halls now silent lie
And long has it been since dwarvish eye
Has gazed upon the wonders there
Where music and laughter once filled the air
There glowing hearth shined ever bright
All wondered at the power and might
Of Dra'kham dwarves, the craftsmen great,
Whose halls now filled with deadly hate
In battle struggled through the night
Till there came to join the fight
An enemy worse, a mortal foe
Who stole Mighty Peruns very Toe
Gruumsh, The Orc Lord the cursed, the Orcish Lord
To Dra'kham dwarves, he brought his horde
The caverns of music then were stilled
And with his evil, darkness filled
Now a shadows tomb, deathly whisper,
Stilled were our kin, to Veles, lisper
The hammers echo is no longer heard
In Underholm, where dwarvish word
Spoken in the dark days past,
silenced by a pogrom past
Lord Moradin, where be your boon
As we priase your name beneath the moon."
