Age. Grungs mature to adulthood in a single year, but have been known to live up to 50 years.
Alignment. Lawful Neutral
Arboreal Alertness. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.
Size. Grungs stand between 2 ½ and 3 ½ feet tall and average about 30 pounds. Your size is Small.
Speed. You have a walking speed of 25 feet. Your sticky finger and toe pads give you a climb speed equal to your walking speed.
Amphibious. You can breathe air and water.
Poison Immunity. You are immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
Venomous Skin. Any creature that grapples you or otherwise comes into direct contact with your skin must succeed on a DC = 10 + your constitution modifier Constitution saving throw or become afflicted by your venom for 1 minute. An afflicted creature which is no longer in direct contact with you can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. The effect depends the color of your skin, which you pick when creating a grung.
Green. A creature afflicted with a green grung's venom becomes poisoned and takes 1d4 poison damage at the start of their turns.
Blue. A creature afflicted with a blue grung's venom must use their action every turn to scream at the top of their lungs.
Purple. A creature afflicted with a purple grung's venom must use all their movement(dashing if able) running towards the closest source of water. If a source of water is not in sight, they instead run in a random direction.
Red. A creature afflicted with a red grung's venom takes 1d8 necrotic damage and has no lasting effects.
Orange. A creature afflicted with a orange grung's venom is frightened of.
Gold. A creature afflicted with a gold grung's venom is charmed by you.
- You can also apply this venom to any piercing weapon as part of an attack with that weapon, when you hit the creature must make a DC = 10 + your constitution modifier Constitution saving throw or become afflicted by your venom for 1 minute.
Standing Leap. Your long jump is up to 25 feet and your high jump is up to 15 feet, with or without a running start.
Water Dependency. If you fail to immerse yourself in water for at least 1 hour during a day, you suffer 1 level of exhaustion at the end of that day. You can recover from this exhaustion only through magic or by immersing yourself in water for at least 1 hour.
