Kolya is the "Driver" or patriarch of the only prominent Važdani vardo, with a trade route that runs from Hastibyr to Obat Tor. Stout, swarthy, and handsome, he is the epitome of Barovian masculinity, equally skilled as a duelist and a salesman. Along with his wife Katarina, he has established strong relationships with merchants and craftspeople all along their route. He is known for always keeping his word, and for his powers of persuasion and intimidation, both of which are augmented by his wife Katerina's strategic talents and reputed ties to Barovian organized crime.
