Thrumir Bhakdram

PC

Personality

Typically Dwarfish, you don’t see the point in wasting words and are always direct and straight to the point. The time you spent living and working at the mine has left you unimpressed with those who seek authority over others, especially when you feel their characters are lacking. You are slow to trust people but very loyal to your friends and comrades in arms. Like all Dwarfs, you have a pathological hatred of goblinoids.

Background

You come from the Dwarven fortress of Karak Andil in the Worlds Edge Mountains. As a small settlement, Karak Andil was often attacked by Goblins and only the toughest of Dwarfs could survive in such a place. As a soldier in the garrison you fought the Goblins for many years, however fifteen years ago the population became too small to sustain the fortress and it was abandoned. The Dwarfs formed loaded up their wagons and headed west into the Empire, seeking a more peaceful life. After two years of travel your convoy arrived in the Erzot Hills above the town of Delberz and set to mining lead. You spent the next thirteen years working in the mine and also seeing off the occasional raids from bandits and outlaws. Life at the mine was mostly quiet, however boredom was common and the work was far from fulfilling. You began to grow tired and frustrated with the rest of the community, especially those who had put themselves in charge. Commercially, the mine wasn’t making very much and your share of the profits was almost non-existent. Worried that the world was passing you by and that your financial position was far lower than is should be for a Dwarf of your age, you decided that your life had to take a new direction.

Leaving the mine and the Erzot Hills behind you find yourself at the Coach and Horse Inn on the road to Altdorf, capital of the Empire. Here you discovered a group of humans also heading to Altdorf in search of adventure, and decided to fall in with them, at least for a while...
