In the intricate tapestry of Sentran nobility, the Lords' Chamber is composed of Houses that have, through the centuries, left indelible marks on the Empire. Initially, the Houses that helped form the Empire held automatic seats in the Lords' Chamber. These were families with deep roots in Sentran history, contributing to the Empire's foundation.

As Houses rose and fell, the Empire recognized the need for a dynamic selection process. A House must not only prove noble ancestry through rigorous genealogical records but also undergo arcane blood testing to affirm their magical lineage. Also recognizing that political power should not be bestowed upon a House unable to sustain itself, there is a stringent financial stability requirement. A House needs to showcase a certain level of wealth or capital to participate in the governance of the Empire. The selection process ensures that the members have the resources and heritage to contribute actively to the Empire's well-being.

The Lords' Chamber consists of fifty-one members, all of which are part of a noble family. The Praetor leads legislative sessions of the chamber. They share equal legislative power with both the Governors' Chamber and the Chamber of Arcane, and together they can veto an Imperial decree.
