Ms. Murphy lived a normal life of a city charlatan, swindling people for a pittance by selling them vaguely magical trinkets and lucky charms. That was until she got greedy and tried to bamboozle a sweet old lady into buying a whole set of porcelain pans. The moment she pocketed the coins, she felt her luck turned upside down, her mind turned inside out. The voices started speaking softly at first, one at a time, minor reproaches at first but growing numerous, louder into more frantic cacophony of rebukes as time went on, driving her crazy. A few neighbours took pity on her and pooled money to sign her up on a one-way trip beyond the portal.

Away from the witch who cursed her, she found the voices more distant here and the change of surroundings allowed her to build familiarity with the different voices, tease sense from their promptings and find ways to regroup the fragments of her sanity. Having regained a semblence of control back in her life, she now aims to get bloody revenge on the witch who cursed her and uproot all their covens.

Aburayan Springs is a little settlement of the Fey, on the southern coast of the Watchers' Island. Encountered for the first time during the quest Hag Hunt: Heart's Revenge, it is centered around its namesake Aburayan Bathhouse, built upon an abandoned ruin of a previous civilisation, a tarnished but grandiose structure that survived from another age, but was later adapted by new people. One of the most eye-catching of these changes is a stone tablet above the entrance, which features words in ancient Sylvan written in intricately carved calligraphy - "Aburaya". Their meaning remains unknown.

The Bathhouse was raised on top of natural springs that are pooling within, and in some places allowed to escape and rush towards the sea in the form of small brooks and streams. The waters flowing here have strange, chaotic properties - among their effects are healing of the wounds.

The Fey of the Millennium Forest visit this place as a quiet resort, or as a temporary stop while traveling elsewhere. Among them, Ryeind Midinve was present during the quest Hag Hunt: Heart's Revenge. To gain entrance, one needs to pay the price of 1 silver coin (or its equivalent) and acquire a token

Another attraction of the Bathhouse is its Proprietress (a position that changes occasionally, and is currently filled by Mistress Bernadette), who is known for her prophetic visions, medicinal skills, and oracular services.

Rumour had it that a powerful creature was trapped below the Bathhouse, keeping it comfortably warm with its mere presence. This is no longer the case, as the creature in question, a Unknown called Lord Azar Hacofyre was unleashed during Hag Hunt: Heart's Revenge, and returned to the Plane of Fire (together with Kakkariel and Sauda).

The boiler room, where Azar was trapped in an arcane magical circle, seated on his molten throne of brass.

Beneath the Bathhouse, there is a series of half-flooded tunnels and caverns. They were used as a lair by the Unknown from the Verge, named Veshta, who was formerly known as 'Yuuko' – a name temporarily traded away by the real Yuuko. She was impersonating Bernadette for some time, and was hiding in the tunnels together with her Boggard and Fuath minions, but this place is now cleared of their filth, and the Hag herself is dead. The subterranean corridors lead to Bernadette's chambers via a vertical drainpipe, and to the boiler room via a hidden maintenance door.

Following the events of Hag Hunt: Heart's Revenge, the Bathhouse was burned down and ruined by Azar Hacofyre when he was unleashed. The party aided the inhabitants and guests of Aburayan Springs in their fight against the consuming fire, but it took a long time for the place to recover fully. Many casualties, and blistering and bludgeoning wounds are another result of this tragedy.

Other points of interest include:

1) The humble Aburayan Docks which usually accept fishing and lesser seafaring vessels. This is where Rafferty the Fisherman used to live and operate, before he was slain during Hag Hunt: Heart's Revenge

2) A Druidic Grove. A shrine only in name, this is a modestly sized clearing in the woods, with the frozen pond taking up most of the available space. Some areas of the ice are cracked, revealing glimmering blue water that doesn't move much. The surrounding trees don't appear like they are something common, either. A number of them, despite being deciduous and thus barren during winter, are still surrounded by rosy, vibrant petals that shimmer into view out of thin air, and slowly descend upon the stark snow. This makes the light around the pond vaguely pink as well. The centrepiece of it all, besides the pond itself, is the massive tree, thick and ancient, bearing icicles like fruits. Colourful ribbons are tied to some of its branches, and the surrounding flora is replaced by seaweed, corals and other related, vibrant organisms of the deep, thriving outside of the water where they otherwise belong, and gently swaying in the wind as if still submerged.

The grove is protected by the Encrusted, who carves peculiar Druidic symbols into the ice using his built-in skate blades. It is also populated by a number of icy Elementals called Ledaluscas; three were present, but only one survived.
