A story goes that, long ago, there was a woman named Kaliopi who gave birth to twins, a girl and a boy. In tribute to the Titans, the woman named the twins Sydon and Lutheria. However, rather than viewing this as the act of devotion, it was intended to be, the Titans were incensed by the hubris of the woman. Lutheria cursed Kaliopi into a great madness, causing her to throw her two young children into the sea, where Sydon conjured a storm to ensure they were washed away.

Those who are sympathetic to the Titans say that Sydon brought them safely to Praxys, where they were raised and serve the Titan to this day; those against the Titans believe them to be drowned. Regardless of the truth, the loss of her children caused Kaliopi to fall into great despair. Unable to comprehend what she had done, she roamed Thylea, calling out for her lost children for the rest of her days.

In memory of this woman and her lost children, the ‘Day of Kaliopi’ sees cities and villages across Thylea throw a children’s festival, and to pay thanks to both the Gods and Titans for keeping them safe from harm. Games, stalls, and street food are everywhere, devotions are made at temples, and some larger cities even run parades.

In the evening, however, any children under the age of five are quickly ushered indoors. It is said that, as night falls on the festivals across Thylea, Kaliopi's ghost begins to wander, calling out and trying to find her lost children. If she comes across any children in this time who are unattended or unguarded, she will spirit them away and claim them as her own. Because of this, doors are kept firmly locked, special incense designed to ward off ghosts is burned, and young children are bid to sleep close to their parents for the night, with some even tying a piece of string between their own wrist and those of their children to ensure that they cannot be dragged away unnoticed.

"That line of stars to the west is called the Tower of Praxys.  This constellation brings to mind the Titan Hergeron, and his and his unfortunate fate. Once the Lord of Battle, Hergeron challenged Sydon, the Lord of Storms, to a duel.  Sydon had stolen his power their eldest brother Talieus, and Hergeron sought revenge.

But though Hergeron was unmatched in strength and valor, he had no mind for strategy.  He greatly underestimated his younger sibling's newfound strength, and Sydon dealt him a crushing defeat.

As punishment for his failure, Hergeron was cast down and imprisoned in the foundations of Sydon's newly-erected stronghold - the Tower of Praxys.  Hergeron carries the full weight of the tower on his shoulders, and he will continue to do so for all eternity."

Grassland stretches across the horizon as far as you can see. The sun shines down from a perfect, cloudless blue sky. A refreshing breeze blows across your skin and through the waves of green grass. The picturesque serenity of this vast, rolling landscape is at odds with the dangers that lurk in this untamed wilderness.

The lands north of The City of Estoria and across the Arkelon River are too dangerous for travel. Bands of Centaurs patrol the grasslands just a few miles away from Estoria. There have been sightings of Cyclops's aswell.

However, if one knows where to look, a village can be found named Versillia. It is said to welcome all comers.

This small temple stands out from its surroundings due to the obvious wealth that has been lavished on it. The temple interior is dominated by dozens of statues of a grinning, dark-eyed woman with a scythe. Casks and painted jugs of wine are stacked along the walls. The temple is filled with a sweet fragrance. While Chondrus frequents this place it is primarily maintained by a family of wine merchants keen to promote the worship of Lutheria. The high priest of this temple is a man called Trellus and he is assisted by his sister, Septia.

The Heroes of Thylea will now make their way to The Temple of the Oracle to get answers and to find out their destiny. However, a more urgent reason has also appeared.

After the festivities ended after the events of The Corrupted Boar everyone went to sleep and had the same dream. The Oracle appeared to them and said a few faint words sounding as if she was underwater.

"Help....me"

The Heroes of Thylea made their way with great haste. Knowledgeable Eurytus was able to lead them through The Oldwood without large difficulty and they soon found themselves at The Temple of the Oracle

It's doors sealed and the usual crown of attendants and people hoping to be granted an audience with the the Oracle were missing. Something was quite amiss.

Thankfully, mighty Tryntia knew of a different way to enter the large system of caves and tunnels that made up The Temple of the Oracle and the heroes soon found themselves at an old temple that appeared to have been a temple of Sydon's. Fighting through malevolent steam spirits, animated weapons and soldiers from The Order of Sydon the heroes were able to free the surviving attendants, including Proteus and make their way down to Versi's grotto.

The heroes then rescued the Oracle from the clutches of the witch Heleka, and in the process, they've learned the first portion of what The Fates have in store for them. Now, they must undertake a series of Great Labors in order to prepare for their confrontation with The Ancient Titans. The prophecies can be found in The Prophecy of Versi.
