Greenskin

Greenskin
General Description
The Greenskins are an interesting collection of subraces. All vastly different in size, appearance and behaviour, their main unifying features are their distinctive eyes (red sclera with yellow irises and white pupils), yellowish teeth and nails, and of course deep green, rough, almost crocodilian skin with yellowish patches on a vaguely humanoid frame, and what little hair they have is black in colour. They also all share the same culture and destructive tendencies.

Language
The Orcish tongue is crude and blunt, seemingly able to get an entire novel’s worth of meaning from a small amount of otherwise unintelligible yelling. One word that does come up a lot is “waagh” which can equally mean “war”, “party”, “charge” or any of a dozen other meanings. One will, however, most commonly hear it screamed at the top of an entire Greenskin tribe’s lungs as a war cry as they bear down to raid a Centaur caravan or Lesser Catfolk encampment. Greenskin names are clunky, guttural and only one or two syllables, and they have no individual surnames but rather the clan name and as such describe themselves usually as “___ of Clan ___”. Most of them can also speak Common but their command of the language is usually limited.

Culture
Greenskins generally live in large, tightly-knit clans which are nomadic by nature and focus almost entirely on the destruction of caravans, small villages and encampments in the New World, drifting around the far West like swarms of locusts destroying everything in their wake and taking whatever is of value to them. The leader of a clan is referred to by a title which roughly translates to “Warboss”, and is usually advised by one or two Shamans. These Shamans often wield geomantic magic which is relatively unheard of elsewhere. Greenskin tribes are constantly fighting both amongst themselves and between one another, creating an incredibly chaotic atmosphere of violence and paranoia. The clans are intensely hierarchical and divided usually by subrace and overall usefulness to the clan, though "usefulness" may not be the correct term considering the very much "might make right" attitude that the Greenskins tend to have.

The hierarchy is widely believed to be Orcs and Hobgoblins at the top, then in order, Bugbears, Ogres, Gremlins and Goblins

Slavers
Greenskins have a tendency to enslave those they do not kill when on raids. Interestingly enough they tend to treat their slaves rather well, at least by Greenskin terms, as their culture does understand that slaves can't work if they aren't fed or provided with water and other such necessities. They are however not above selling their slaves to less than scrupulous individuals in exchange for supplies.

Equipment
These creatures usually use Shoddy or poorly made equipment such as Wooden Plank Breastplate, Unknowns and Unknown.
