Standing at the peak of the cresting cliffs of the City of Shadows was the once magnificent structure of the Avatars Tower. Said to have been the ancient home of a powerful Sun Elf sage, the tower has since been reduced to rubble and ash. Spread from its foundations is a swirling vortex of black clouds spawning from the otherwise charred stone of what's left of the tower. Beneath the tower is a portal to The Shadowfell guarded by the shadow apparition known as Nevarath.
