Theder

Country

Theder is a kingdom on the continent of Tide. The majority of its citizens are Dwarf people to the east. It is ruled over by a dynastic monarchy which delegates some power to an elected council.

Government

The capital of Theder is Earion, and this is where The Crown of Theder and The Council of Theder reside. The country is also divided into three provinces (Middenfall, Twindrake, and Westide) which each have a ruling family and council. While general elections are held for both the national council and the councils of each province, the monarchy and ruling families are dynastic and always have final say on laws.

Military

Theder is protected by The Theder National Guard, which comprises of several standing and reserve regiments.

Geography

Theder spans the west part of the landmass of Tide. To the north, The Barrier Mountains separate Theder from Thorne; and to the east, the kingdom of Pauviel lies just beyond the Lagatpulgoruz – The Stormcrag Mountains and The Southdrake Mountains providing a natural border.

Theder’s climate is mostly temperate, with the north being a little colder near the border with Thorne and the south east being warmer. Average rainfall isn’t heavy apart from in the southern peninsulas, which are wet all year round.
