Oceanyka, still sometimes known post-independence as Australia, is a confederation of tribes, villages, towns and city-states located in the continent of Oceania. It is an anarchic land filled with treasure, danger, cruelty and death. Outside of the palisades of villages, the stone walls of towns, the sniper towers of cities and the bunkers of colonial outposts anarchy reigns, and he with the biggest gun wins. Oceanyka autonomously developed two different civilisations which had been at war with each other for millennia before the arrival of foreign settlers; the Aboriginals and the Ferozen. In their last great war, they destroyed each other, leaving the continent ripe for British colonisation. This state of affairs lasted for almost a century, greatly enriching the Empire, but Oceanyka reached independence through bloody revolution in the late 19th century, as a confederation between all peoples within it. Originally aligned with the West, a left-wing revolution in the capital has brought it closer to the Moscow Pact, under the leadership of President Alan Redfort.

The Eureka Rebellion, far from the expectations of many political thinkers at the time, did not lead to increased political liberties within the seven constituent colonies of Australia. Rather, they convened in Sydney and chose to take a more draconian approach to Australian governance. This was contrary to the new society which was emerging from the synthesis of Oceanykan traditional culture and British values, whose pillar was the concept of "mateship". Hundreds of thousands of British troops from across the Empire (many of them Oceanykans themselves) cracked down on the continent, sometimes engaging in acts of plain injustice. It was during this period that Britain's Australian colonies became the Empire's most important source of raw materials

As evidenced by Ned's Rebellion, an armed struggle led by legendary bushranger Edward "Ned" Kelly, these policies only increased resentment and revolutionary sentiments. Appeasement came in the form of the Federation of the Commonwealth of Australia, a new state which was nominally self-governing and oriented towards the needs of Oceanyka's peoples, but in reality, remained anchored to London and acted as an apartheid stateVeterans of this armed conflict spurred on a brutal guerilla war (see: Oceanykan War of Independence) against the British-aligned government, raging on until a compromise was achieved in the 1907 Imperial Conference, where Queen Victoria officially granted Oceanyka full independence. This event signals the beginning of the Early Republican Age.

It is said by a number of historians that Britain's over-reliance on Oceanykan raw materials, which led to the underdevelopment of its colonial holdings within South Asia and Africa, was a leading cause of British defeat in the Great War.

The 37mm Gun M3 was the main infantry anti-tank gun of the United States prior to their entry into WW2. It was similar to other lightweight anti-tank weapons of its calibre. However, continued Soviet and Japanese developments in armour technology made it obsolete before it was even deployed on the battlefield. Consequently, America's massive stores of the cannon were sold off post-war to the world's nations.

The Europäische Gemeinschaften (in English, the European Community), usually shortened to the the Euro-Gemein, is a supranational organisation headquartered in Berlin, whose members are non-communist European states. It contains four main associations: the European Steel and Coal Community (which promotes industrialisation and facilitates trade), the European Atomic Energy Community (which regulates nuclear energy and the usage of fissile materials), the European Economic Community (which facilitates all forms of trade between EG members) and the European Defence Command (successor to the World War II Stahlpakt). Most of its members are also part of NATO. Some of its most radical supporters within Germany and abroad speak of a possible European Federation, though these dreams are still quite far off.

With Germany in the middle of a revolution, the Greater Habsburg Empire collapsing, Italy undergoing its own unrest and Ataturk's republican forces triumphant in Turkey, it seemed as if the Arabs and their allies had resulted victorious. At the Treaty of Baghdad in which Arab, Kurdish, Armenian, Turkish, American and Japanese representatives were present, joined by a newly free Egypt, which had declared independence from Great Britain and was led by an Anglo-Arab junta. The insurrectionists and Egyptian leaders agreed to form a number of independent state polities, all allied politically and militarily under a common West Asian Pact.

  • The Kingdom of Egypt, ruled by Fuad I of the Mohammed Ali dynasty.
  • The Kingdom of Jordan, ruled by Abdullah I of the Hashemite dynasty.
  • The Kingdom of Syria, ruled by Ali I of the Hashemite dynasty.
  • The Kingdom of Iraq, ruled by Faisal I of the Hashemite dynasty.
  • The Kingdom of Arabia, ruled by Hussein I of the Hashemite dynasty.
  • The Republic of Phoenicia, ruled by a junta of local militia leaders.
  • The Republic of Greater Kurdistan, ruled by a junta of local militia leaders.
  • The Republic of South Armenia, ruled by a junta of local militia leaders.

Sudan fell under the control of a British military junta, whose independence the King of Egypt recognised due to pressure from the newly formed Imperial African Army and his close British advisors.

The T-64A is a Soviet main battle tank, a variant of the T-64. Its most distinguishing features are the inclusion of a 125mm smoothbore D-81TM Tank Gun (2A46), improved night vision devices, an optical coincidence rangefinder and rubber side armour to protect the transmission. Soon thereafter, an optionally remote-controlled anti-air DShK Machinegun was added to the T-64A. This main battle tank began production in the late 1960s, and as such, its capabilities remain both an enigma and an unknown threat to NATO. Some have been spotted operating in Oceanyka, usually accompanying Spetsnaz forces deep into the bush.

Hellberries are acidic, proliferous fruits which appear most commonly in the southern parts of the country. The bush they grow from is a common garden decoration, while the fruit itself is profitable as an agricultural enterprise. Hellberry exports provide many smaller agricultural communities and self-sufficient individuals a living.
