Completed
Campaign

Isaiah and his company travelled to the Northern districts of Neverwinter, seeking a provider of lightsources. He found a shop that sold both magical and mundane forms of light, and purchased an enchanted lantern, a magical jar, and a sphere of flaring fire. He then sought out wisdom of the streets, and found a smuggling organization, known as the Nighttraders. He spoke with their leader, who identified himself as Hedge, and learned that the city of Evernight is one of the most hideous cities in all of the planes. Undead make up the vast majority of its inhabitants. With this in mind, he headed back to Morgan Lightbane’s temple, and passed through the Shadowcrossing into Evernight. He, Typhon, and Varus travelled through the merchant district, and into the Corpse Market, where they found the horrifying wares that were being bought and sold within. Finally, they ended up in the graveyard, and Isaiah learned that the graveyard of Neverwinter is more often used for ritual sacrifice than for actual burial. He found the Vyshaan Mausoleum, and entered inside. He learned that the Vampire thad was trapped within Vault 2 was in fact the master to a number of children, and one such child had attempted to break into this very vault. He encountered both it and the dark entity that accompanied it. He asserted his control over the entity, and made a deal with the Vampiric heir. They travelled into the Vault, and found a number of relics, many of which seemed to enhance Isaiah’s power. However, the ring that he put on seemed to channel energy from an entity entirely unfamiliar to Isaiah. The amulet that he placed around his neck seemed to burn at the symbol of Asmodeus, and Isaiah opted to temporarily move the Asmodean symbol somewhere else. After heading into a chamber that seemed to have been recently used, Isaiah learned of his ancestor, Galdrien Vyshaan, founder of a secretive organization called the “Blades of Ash and Flame,” devoted to the elimination of threats to the Vyshaanite empire. He recovered the personal artifacts of Galdrien, including his weapon, a wicked-looking glaive formed of the very ash of Mount Hotenow.
