Solaire was banished from the Demiplane of Nightmares, as his connection to the Shadowfell heightened overwhelmingly. He is now within the vicinity of Calimport. A manifestation of the plane, the Night Terror, conjured forth the closest friends of Walder and Fredrick, but warped and took over their minds such as to make them hostile. Walder absorbed the souls of several entities, and both he and Nienor (who, along with the others, were plucked from the Material Plane) suffered great tolls to their mental stability, to the point of mutating into nightmarish creatures. In a blast of holy light, Fredrick called upon the divine powers to give him one last burst of radiance. The shockwave vaporized the Night Terror, and banished the dark mutations that had taken hold of Walder and Nienor. Loric's body and soul were merged once more, and the party made their way back home, at no small cost.
