After taking a moment to regroup the party proceed to check out the hallway in which the larger serpent was guarding. In the hall was a mix of various statues. The party did not find anything at first but using a wand of secrets was able to discover a false wall and a small room with various gemstones. The party found that the chest on the other side of the room was well trapped. They were able to successfully clear the traps to find a box in a box under another box. Inside was the secret to Edons power. The party took the piece and kept it and proceeded to hunt down Edon. They finished clearing the floor out discovering some sort of incubation chamber which they promptly destroyed. From there they proceeded downstairs to find the true work place of Edon. With the walls mostly covered in blood they knew he must be close by. They prepared themselves as they heard a tapping farther inside. After preparing themselves they proceeded inside. They found three undead figures, all of which looked identical and were tapping their feet in unison as if waiting for the party to arrive. There was then a short monologue as a large monstrosity and undead dog creature moved up to greet the group. An intensive battle broke out which ended up costing Kazuki his life. He then had to find a way back from Lerwick to regroup with the party as that is where his clone was located. At that time is when the party realized there was another combatant hanging around while invisible. The party focused their efforts on killing the few they could see then to track down the invisible man. It was Kazuki’s similiacrum with a wand of enemy detection that was able to track down the invisible Edon. Once they were able to knock him down they had the trouble of deciding whether or not to kill him. They decided to keep him knocked out while they explore the final chambers.
As they proceeded to begin searching Edon was actually still conscious and activated a secret glyph which set most of his notes ablaze. Warlic attempted to cull the flames but most of the books and notes were unrecoverable. He proceeded to try and make a getaway but was quickly knocked out. From there the party was able to discover an extremely hidden room with many glyphs inside. After nearly being distitegrated the party slowly worked past them and decided to slay Edon then use the room to teleport home. When they brought the corpse inside it was plane shifted away. The party proceeded to leave the island on Snowdown and proceed home, believing they had slew Edon.
