The party got briefed by Richter and set off on their way. They reached the town of Stillwater, a town by a lake. The town was gloomy and dark. They got to an inn and got some information about what is happening, the town is plagued by nightmares. The dead was found with broken mirrors and no eyes. After some deliberation they decided to cast located object to find a mirror. And they found one, one that was moving, they went off in persued and during the chase Finn's keen eyes saw another phenomenom the town was plagued with. Dancing spectral brides. They decided to deal with this menance and a battle ensued. Many more undead cropped up and it was a battle of attrition but the party prevailed. After the battle they continued onwards and saw a woman carrying a standing mirror.
She warned them to keep away, but then got sucked into Loric's mirror shield. Two mirror demons appeared as the mirror shards all around the party. As this happened both Finn and Merkin got sucked into Loric's mirror shield. The battle was rough and hard, as the paladins did not have many range options and Finn, Merkin were constantly plagued by a curse putting them under the effects of 'enemies abound'. It was a very rough fight but they succeeded. Finn however killed the npc lady. After the battle Merkin and Loric tried resurrecting the lady and after some fails, they succeeded. After looting, they talked to the lady and found out what was really happening. After a long rest, they found the town being charmed for some reason and going towards the town well. The party managed to prevent some suicides but then the big bad came up. A gruesome battle ensued, with the big bad hitting like 3 trucks. However it was Loric that slaid the creature, by fumbling. After that Merkin erected a memorial for the dead and the party went on their way back home.
