The Shadow Guard is a secretive governmental organization that is run by the Khymal Set of Sanaris. The organization handles discrete matters that would be a bad look for the Emerald Guard or Obsidian Guard, such as assassinations.
To many citizens of Sanaris, the Shadow Guard is a myth at best. Their operations are generally conducted incognito, so it can be difficult to pin down just what exactly they have been involved in. One of their main goals appears to be the culling of any surviving descendents of House Zelvass, the former royal family of Sanaris.
The Shadow Guard was responsible for the destruction of the village Bylhivar, the childhood home of Seamus McHammerface.
