University District

City District

Equally grand though more low key and tree lined then Harbormasters, the University District is centered around Haven University. This set of sprawling brick and stone buildings interposed with groves of trees covers a hundred acres of the west side of University Avenue. Two immense towers, the Tower of the Art and the Tower of Music crown two low hills that mark the northern and southern boundaries of the University while the lower lying but massive Library anchors the center.  The tallest buildings in Haven, the two towers dominate the skyline.

Wide, tree lined boulevards are lined with large buildings set well back from the street. This district contains most of the artisan guilds in the city. The Navigators, Cartographers and Shipwrights guilds are especially large and imposing but many other guilds are almost as grand. There are also many upscale residences for high ranking guild members and faculty of the university, in addition to estates for affluent citizens that value quiet and privacy.

The district is bounded to the east by University Avenue, to the west by Governors Way , to the north by the Grand Canal and to the south by Southharbor Avenue.
